    VNU Exhibitions wins UFI Marketing Award 2011 with KAP Program

    The Dutch trade show organizer VNU Exhibitions Europe has won the UFI Marketing Award 2011 with its Key Buyer Appreciation Program. The 2011 UFI Marketing Award will be presented to VNU Exhibitions Europe at the 78th UFI Congress in Valencia from November 9-12, 2011. UFI is the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.

    VIV Asia 2011 a resounding success; a third of exhibitors sign up for 2013

    The international trade show for animal production and processing, VIV Asia 2011, has been a resounding success. The biennial event presents the entire Feed to Meat supply chain, offers plenty of opportunities for the supplier industry and plays a significant role in the continuing growth of intensive livestock farming in Asia’s emerging markets. VIV Asia was held at BITEC in Thailand from 9 to 11 March. VNU Exhibitions Europe, the Netherlands, staged the event in cooperation with N.C.C. Exhibition Organizer (NEO), Thailand. VIV Asia 2011 attracted a record number of 28,978 visitors, of which 16,264 were international (56%) and 12,714 were from Thailand. The total figure is a massive increase of 39% on the last VIV Asia exhibition in 2009 (20,831). Feedback on VIV Asia was extremely positive: on a scale of 1 to 10, exhibitors rated it 8.1 and visitors as high as 8.4.

  • Exhibition space at VIV Asia 2011 in high demand

    With still another five months before the opening, this leading trade show for the Asia-Pacific animal production and processing industries already has a larger surface area (nearly 14,000 m²) than the previous edition in 2009 (12,800 m²) with an even more diversified range of exhibitors. Up until early November almost 500 exhibitors had registered to take part. This is considerably more than two years ago in the same period. The VIV Asia 2011 dates are 9 to 11 March 2011, at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre BITEC.
