Emka Incubators introduces their brand new "teggnology"

Teggnologic27 is a next generation incubator, operating with cooling water at a temperature of 27°C instead of the traditional 12 to 15°C. This brand-new, revolutionary technology leads to considerable advantages for both the hatchery and the day-old chicks.

Energy saving:
If the outside temperature is below 24°C, the outgoing cooling water can be cooled back to 27°C almost for free. No further energy consuming cooling is needed, resulting in a cheaper incubation process.

No more condensation inside the machine:
The dew point in normal incubator conditions is situated at 25-26°C. Since the cooling water temperature with the Teggnologic27 is above the dew point, no condensation whatsoever is formed inside the machine. The floor and cooling pipes stay completely dry.

Better chick quality:
Independent, comparative studies show that Teggnologic27 produces alert, dry and active day-old chicks with nicely closed navels and no big bellies. Teggnologic27 chicks are visibly better than those from traditional incubators. The studies also indicate lower first week mortality, better FCR and a better growth rate.

Easier and faster cleaning:
In the Teggnologic27 incubator no fluff sticks to the cooling pipes, making the cleaning process a lot easier and faster. Combined with Emka’s unique fluff air filtering system, both the hatcher and the fluff tunnel stay extremely tidy. Cleaning time after each hatch is thus reduced to an absolute minimum.
