Aviagen is committed to customers in Asia and Oceania: The Company’s strategy is to get closer to customers through constant investment in new and existing facilities, recruiting local technical service personnel and providing a regular calendar of workshops, customer visits, seminars and other events throughout the region.
In Asia and Oceania, Aviagen has:
• 2 production bases – Aviagen ANZ (Australia and New Zealand) and Aviagen India
• 5 regional offices – Thailand, China, India, Australia, New Zealand
• A strong, dedicated regional team
o 38 personnel serving Aviagen customers in Asia and Oceania
o 200 personnel working for Aviagen India
o 180 personnel in Aviagen ANZ
o A total of 418 personnel looking after production and customers in the region
• Locally-based technical personnel, speaking 11 languages, supported by a network of Aviagen specialists
Aviagen also has a strong portfolio of brands to suit the regions different markets – Arbor Acres, Ross and Indian River are all proven successes with a track record of delivering competitive advantages to our customers. To make that happen, Aviagen has built up a strong network of GrandParent (GP) distributors and customers.
In order to meet a wide and varying set of supply needs throughout Asia, Aviagen has invested in local supply and production, which has many benefits. Most notably, having production centres in Australia and New Zealand, where rigorous animal health regulations have dramatically reduced the incidence of poultry diseases, allows Aviagen to develop an uninterrupted production supply base for its Asian customers. The business has also invested in high quality production in India, where state-of-the-art facilities and stringent biosecurity standards provide security of supply to the subcontinent.
However, the most important element is the people behind the brands: Dedicated regional customer focus teams provide customers in Asia and Oceania with first-class commercial and technical service and are supported by professionals in areas such as health, nutrition, hatchery, stock management and environment. Aviagen’s technical service is second-to-none. Experienced and respected personnel travel thousands of miles every year, visiting customers, hosting conferences and workshops and attending industry events to ensure that the service they offer is timely, relevant and meaningful.
Aviagen takes its position in the industry seriously, providing education and training to customers in the region. The Aviagen School has been running for almost 50 years and has hosted nearly 1000 students from over 100 countries. In recent years, a satellite school in China has been founded and has proven to be a great success.
